There are many different companies which provide broadband service to those needing internet capabilities. They all offer competitive pricing for their service. Many of the cable companies offer packaging with their cable products. This is a review of the different companies to choose from, and we will look at the deals they offer.

The first company which offers broadband service is a well-known cell phone provider. They, like many other companies, offer packages to try and offer discounted prices. Their internet service is DSL, and they have different packages depending on the speed of the internet. The three different packages range from $35 to $45 per month without the purchase of a phone line. However, if a phone line is purchased with DSL, the DSL is only $20 to $35.

A common internet company is the next service provider. They offer both DSL and cable to the consumer. They also have different packages to choose from. Their category called Fast internet service is $12.95 for DSL. Cable broadband service is $29.95. Their Superfast internet is $19.95 for DSL, and $29.95 for cable internet. This also has satellite internet for $59.99. They also have an Ultrafast option $72.99 for satellite service.

The next cable company with internet service advertises high-speed internet for $19. 99 per month. To purchase a three-product package of high-speed internet, digital cable, and digital voice, this would cost $99. With the purchase of these services, they usually offer extra amenities like anti-virus protection like Norton or McAfee.

Broadband internet service can also be wireless as through a cell phone company. Verizon offers home internet service, but one can also purchase a PC card to receive wireless broadband service. A PC card may need to be purchased separately from Verizon, or it may come with paying the monthly fee. There are two internet speeds with the faster costing $59 per month. The slower speed wireless service is $39 per month.

Similarly, a second cell phone company also has wireless internet through a PC card. These PC cards are very convenient for the consumer who needs to use their laptop with internet in places where there is no internet such as airports and other places on the go. The service is comparable to home internet service.

The next cable company with broadband service is popularly used. They advertise a monthly deal of $34.95 for cable internet. This is a very popular company for cable television, and their internet is as good in quality.

The above examples of broadband service providers is only a portion of different providers available. Other examples are DirectTV and Cox cable. The faster serving internet has become the most widely used which is mostly through cable. It can be purchased by itself or high-speed internet can be bought as part of a package including cable television and telephone service. This reduces the price of the three when they are combined. Companies like Sprint and Verizon can offer internet services with their cell phone capabilities. This is broadband service, but it allows the customer to use the internet wirelessly practically anywhere as long as there is cell phone signaling available.
